Treyarch have given more details about Call of Duty: Black Ops multiplayer.

Treyarch have now added a Combat Training Mode, which lets you and your friends play against bots. This mode also has its own ranking system, this is separate to the standard multiplayer modes.

Also when creating a class you will be able to see your character, as some of the perks that you get will effect the way your character looks for example if you use the Flak Jacket will put Flak Jacket on your character.

Crysis 2 Multiplayer Details

EA has announced two multiplayer game modes for Crysis 2. The first mode is called Crash Site, it puts players in two teams who compete for control of “Ceph Drop Pods”, scoring points by guarding the pods and preventing access of the pod to the opposite team. The pods itself are periodically dropped in the map by overhead patrolling dropships.

The other mode is a standard Team Deathmatch, with Teams scoring by annihilating and killing as many opponent team members as possible. Nanosuit is going to play a pivotal role as players can use many combinations and tactics to attack enemies, be it sneaking in Stealth mode or Blazing guns gloriously in Armor Mode. Crysis 2 to be out on 22 March 2011 . Checkout the 5 new multiplayer screenshots fresh out of Gamescom 2010.

H.A.W.X 2 Demo

Today Ubisoft announce that a single-player demo of Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X.® 2 is now available.

The demo is just a sample of the full spectrum of modern air combat that the full game will deliver. The demo offers 2 single player missions from the main campaign.

Interception Course

Take to the air to intercept a group of stolen aircraft high above the Caucasus Mountains.

Right in the middle of this hot spot on the world conflict radar, you will be playing as a Russian pilot in this mission, part of the new multinational cinematic story narrative in H.A.W.X.® 2.

Seek and Destroy

Playing from the perspective of the elite US H.A.W.X. squadron, conflict is boiling over in Africa and you are tasked with taking out specific targets with smart ammunition in a treacherous night mission. Take off from a carrier under the cover of darkness and strike against a weapon smuggling operation using precision guided laser bombs.

Medal of Honour: Beta Impressions

Medal of Honour has seen EA and DICE work together to produce what could be one of the best games of the year. When the game was announced it became a must play game, then EA made it even more exciting by announcing that there would be a public beta of the Medal of Honour Multiplayer.

The beta was made you of two game types: Team Assault and Mission. Mission in the beta was set in Helmand Valley, were you have to capture or defend 5 objectives depending what side you are on. This a lot like the Rush mode in Battlefield: Bad Company 2, so the game play is hectic due to the close quarter combat. Team Assault is basically Team Death match, which was played on a medium map of the streets of Kabul.

The beta did feel like it will give Modern Warfare 2 and the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops a run for its money. The beta was just a slice of the full game and shows that it has more than enough potential to become the best FPS of the year, taking the crown away from Call of Duty.

We also gave a beta key to one of the site readers and asked them for there view on the beta.

”Thought the game was good, with the maps on show giving a good level of cover and opportunities for snipers in open ground. Spawning on smaller maps can lead to spawn camping I found on a few occasions as snipers could cover them from distance. I like the tactical element of choosing either radar or mortar strike for instance depending on the current situation such as if players are spread out the radar could help pick them out, or use the mortar to suppress an area of heavy fire.”
