Today Capcom have announced that Street Fighter IV will be coming to the 360.

The game has been put back again, as the team at Ubisoft Montreal have decide to take the game back to the drawing borad. I have to admit that it is good to see a game not being rushed.

Universe at War: Review

Universe at War is set on Earth, besieged by aliens both good and bad. At the start of the game you begin playing as the humans, but they are not a major faction in the game. In fact, you can not play as them in multiplayer, or in the skirmish and scenario modes. Those modes along with the three main factions paths in the campaign mode make up the entire game, and there is definitely a lot to play with. It is a shame that the game has terrible A.I., not so great graphics and a bad frame rate at points in the game.

Condemned 2 stars where Condemned left off, with agent Ethan Thomas finding himself at the bottom of a whiskey glass after being kicked out of the Serial Crimes Unit. The start of the game gives you a refresher on the melee combat with handy weapons such as pipes, boards, bricks or whatever else you find lying around on the ground. At the start of the game you also find yourself reintroduces you to the supernatural elements introduced in the first game, through your hallucinations and mysterious televisions and radios scattered throughout the levels that you have to tune in by moving the antenna around.

Guitar Hero 4 to have Drums

Guitar Hero 4 will be adding Drums to the series for the first time. The Drums look very good and is made up of three pads, two cymbals and a foot pedal.

I have a feeling though that there may be problems with the the Drums as the foot pedal is loose so could move while playing the game. The cymbals also look thin and likely to break, but until it's release we will have to wait and see.

Codemasters get F1 Licence

Codemasters has revealed that they now have the F1 licence. They said that they will be using it to develop a game based on the 2009 F1 season that will be released on the XBOX 360/PS3 as well as PC and handhelds.

The game is already in production and will use an updated version of the EGO Engine from Colin McRae: DIRT and the upcoming Race Driver: Grid is going to be used to build the game.

The BBFC have now rated Alone in the Dark.

"The game has been rated 15 for the strong language and violence," the board said. The Board then remarked that the game "does not dwell on the infiliction on the pain and injury" and explain that "violence in the game is all mitigated by the fantasy context in which the adventure is set and the game does not dwell on its infliction in an overt fashion."

Information has emerged that Ricky Gervais will be making an appearance in GTA IV. He wont be playing a character in the game, but instead will be playing himself, performing a stand up routine in one of the Comdey Clubs located in Liberty City.It has also been revealed that Gervais has written and performed new material that will exclusively be used in the game.

Rumours recently have hinted that other real world people will be making an appearance throughout the game, although Gervais remains the only one confrimed yet.

Rock Band UK Prices Confirmed

EA has confirmed the price for Rock Band, following the European release date announcement this morning.

Europe, unlike the US, will not get all the instruments bundled together with the game.

Instead, you will have to buy an Instrument Edition at £129.99 - which comprise of the drum kit, guitar and microphone - then buy the game separately for £49.99.

Anyone after the whole lot will be looking to spend £180.00. That's is more expensive than in the US, where you can buy the game and all the instruments for $169.00 - which is the equivalent to £85.00.

Wireless guitars will be sold separately for £59.99, while the drum kit will be £69.99.

Hopefully retailers will be offering their own bundles.

Things are looking good for fans of GTA IV. It seems that even though the game itself hasn't been released, the DLC for it has already been dated. The first DLC episode has been said to be released around the 20 to 22 august, roughly four months after the slated release of the game.

Further more, the second DLC episode is said to be dated for a Christmas release. Now that ain't a bad gift.
